# What are product opens on Agora?

Product opens are one of the key metrics we track for Agora merchants, who can follow their store's metrics on the [Home](/merchants/guides/home-page-docs.md) page of their Dashboard. A product counts as opened when a customer has clicked into a product to view the product's details, description, reviews and more information. It is the last step before a customer adds that product to their cart.
